Heat Activated Trigger is a Trap Part in Orcs Must Die! Unchained.
Description[]
Adds a 10% chance for the Trap to reset if burning Minions are nearby, regardless of the traps' cooldown state.
The Heat Activated Trigger will only trigger, when an enemy crosses into the trigger range for a trap.

Extra notes: The Heat Activated Trigger (HAT) will only trigger when an enemy crosses into the trigger range for a trap. Ballista trigger ranges are huge, so there is a very specific point when burning minions will have the 10% chance to refire the Ballista immediately. While the minions are already within the Ballista's trigger range, they will not trigger the HAT even if there are burning minions within the trigger range.
In the case of Ballistas, activation range is lengthened/shortened by Line of Sight (LoS). So if minions come around a corner, the activation range is changed based on the trap's LoS and any Triggers would activate at that point.
