Traits
Traits are interesting and special passive bonuses that help players in-game. They shouldn't be underrated, they can do a big difference with both of their bonuses, they have a wide variety of effects that can be of great help thanks to the synergy they offer with Heroes, Traps and against different Enemies. Their passive bonuses can be of all three roles, offensive, defensive and supportive.
You can equip 4 of them in your Loadout and you can obtain them from Chests just like Traps or Gear.
Slot Matching Bonus
There are 3 types of Traits:
- Pentagon Traits: With focus on offensive passive bonuses
- Diamond Traits: Focused on defensive passive bonuses
- Triangle Traits: Mostly supportive passive bonuses
Each Trait has two bonuses, the regular bonus that is applied by simply having it equipped in one of the 4 Trait slots of your loadout and the Slot Matching Bonus. This second bonus only applies when the Trait type matches the Slot type. Loadouts have 1 Slot of each of the three types: Pentagon, Diamond and Triangle. Equipping a Triangle Type Trait in the Triangle Slot will allow the slot matching bonus to be applied.
The 4th slot of the Loadout doesn't have a type and equipping a Trait in this slot will not grant the slot matching bonus.
